Nutrient Technology Partners, Inc. (NTP) is a strategic sales and marketing organization dedicated to identifying opportunities between technology owners (manufacturers) and the sales and marketing channel(s) needed to optimize market results. Significant unmet needs remain in the area of nutrient management in the markets of agriculture, turf, ornamental, lawn care, and remediation in the US and worldwide. Plant fertility is not as efficient as is possible due to the soil's inability of making all of the applied nutrients available for plant intake has resulted in an over use of fertilizer (application) and under utilization of nutrients (plant uptake). Costs of nutrients are increasing rapidly due to increased demand for oil and gas internationally, increased demand tied to corn acres for biofuel production and higher import costs. Government regulations in many states (notably Florida, New York, Minnesota and others) are mandating the reduction of applied nitrogen and phosphorus while the grower and turf manager demand for quality response and plant growth remains unabated. This compounding approach has driven up the cost (economics) of fertilization, lowered the fertilizers effectiveness (efficacy), and has recently lead to an overall political and social fervor demanding governmental regulation of fertilizers due to environmental concerns (ecological).

NTP has identified key elements of a biochemical technology that will allow nutrients to be released more effectively, making them more susceptible to plant uptake. This fertilizer meta-catalyst has been tested for several years and has received numerous university and real market accreditations proving its ability to achieve this much needed modification of current nutrient application and delivery. NTP believes that this technology can allow for a reduction of the use of fertilizer and still have more nutrients taken up by the plant. This results in a much reduced fertilizer residue available in the soil for nitrate and phosphate leaching (ecological).
